Automated Vertical Drawer Warehouse

Management system for an automated vertical drawer warehouse. Each drawer can hold multiple items simultaneously; the management software autonomously determines the optimal storage position for each incoming product, or the operator can direct it to reserved drawers.

Article retrieval is done by searching by code, description or any other available reference. The system returns the list of all matching items with their drawer locations, allowing quick identification and retrieval.

The system integrates Allen-Bradley PLC automation software and custom management software communicating via industrial protocol over Ethernet, guaranteeing real-time synchronisation between movement logic and article management.
